The eTwinning project that involves the exchange of experiences between schools from 25 different European countries, involved students from ages 4-12.
All our students contributed to this project that has brought plenty of opportunities for usage of the English Language with the guiding of our English teachers .
The blended learning model of the project-based tasks involved multidisciplinary activities like Art, Geography, ICT, English, 21st century competencies, and Life sciences getting to know diversity and preparation for life in an intercultural society have been involved in it.
Students from Kindergarten to 7th grade have completed tasks such as making the Turkish flag using the shape of their hands, drawing and colouring different countries flags, learning and practicing good morning in European languages, learning vocabulary about nationalities and languages, playing online games using Kahoot! And also WordWall, analyzing and finding countries in a map, preparing posters with information about our partner countries, making Zoom Calls to find things in common with Polish partners, learning and teaching New Year greetings to our Polish, Spanish and Portuguese partners and finally, preparing questions that were then part of a Kahoot! game that summarized all the project tasks. Primary School Twinning Club has played this game during a synchronous lesson with Spanish students using Zoom, too.
After working hard and playing harder, the project has now come to an end. Our School is now ready to apply for a Quality Label that is analyzed following criteria that can award us national and internationally.
Looking forward to sharing our success with you soon!
